Over the years I have photographed many weddings at Ye Olde Plough House. Situated in Bulphan near Brentwood in Essex, it is a fantastic Essex wedding venue. Featuring lots of space, lovely gardens, great staff and good food. Therefore, you could not ask for more! In March of this year I photographed Kirsty and Billys wedding there. What a fantastic wedding it was too. On the day, we were ably assisted by toastmaster Ted Prior, who did a fantastic job, making sure everything ran smoothly.
Ye Olde Plough House has some lovely rooms and I started off by photographing Kirsty and her bridesmaids as they all prepared for the big day. It’s very easy at this venue to slip between the bridal prep and the groom photographs. Also, with being so spacious you do not have to worry about the two being seen before the wedding itself.
The couple were married in a small civil ceremony attended by all their family and friends. After the wedding ceremony we moved off to the gardens for some formal family and group photographs. As you can see from the photographs, despite it being quite a dull March day everyone was having fun celebrating Kirsty and Billy’s wedding.
Because it was quite early in the year and still getting dark before 7pm, I took the opportunity before the wedding breakfast to take the couple for a walk and get a few shots fo them alone in the beautiful gardens. Then it was time for the wedding breakfast and speeches. On this occasion I also took some video of the wedding speeches, something I can off as an optional extra.

This was a fabulous wedding for a lovely couple and I have since supplied them with a superb wedding album. Below are a few on my favourite images, the majority of which are also in Kirsty and Bill’s wedding album.
