Orsett Hall Hotel and Spa is a fabulous Essex Wedding Venue. Earlier this year I photographed the wedding of Kerrie and Andrew there. Kerrie and her bridesmaids stayed the night before the wedding at the hotel, so it was easy for me to photograph the bridal preparations with the whole wedding being in one place. As you can see from the photographs Kerrie’s wedding dress was fabulous as were those of her bridesmaids. Andrew looked great too, along with his two brothers who were his best men.
On this occasion I also took along my daughter Candice to video the main parts of the wedding day including, the ceremony, speeches, and first dance. If you look on the ‘Wedding Prices‘ page of my website you can find more details about this service.
The couple were married in the chapel at Orsett Hall which was packed to the rafters with their family and friends. This was a lovely a civil ceremony which also included some readings from a few of the couple’s friends.
After the wedding ceremony the couple along with their wedding guest made their way over to the main hotel for the wedding reception in the pavilion room, which I believe, is the largest function room at Orsett Hall. The weather that day was sunny and hot, which made it a little difficult to find some top shade to photograph all the formal shot requests the couple wanted. After that it was time for the wedding breakfast and speeches. One thing I must mention is how good the food is at Orsett Hall, my daughter and me were treated to a lovely three course meal and is was simply delicious!
I always look forward to the speeches and these were particularly funny with Andrew’s brothers really taking the making fun out of him. After the speeches the couple cut their wedding cake before going for a little walk with me around the grounds for some pictures of them alone. Then before long it was time for the first dance. This was a fabulous wedding for a wonderful couple and today I have just received their wedding album which really does capture the day for them. Below are a few of my favourite images some of which made it into their wedding album.
