Mulberry House has to be one of my favourite wedding venues, for one thing it’s not far from my home in Billericay, Essex. It is licensed for civil weddings and is the perfect setting for a wedding with its Mulberry Suite and all-season permanent marquee. Mulberry House is situated on the A414 in the village of High Ongar and is close to Chelmsford, Harlow as well as Brentwood and Shenfield. It can also be easily reached via the M25 and M11.
That’s my advertising for Mulberry House out of the way, now for the more important bit, Rosie and Matthews wedding day. As with lots of my weddings Rosie and Matthew found me through some friends of theirs whose wedding, I photographed a few years ago. Matthew was a groomsman at that wedding and a chance meeting of Matthew whilst I was buying a car from a dealership that Matthew works at made them think of me again.
As you can see from the photographs Rosie and Matthew are a fantastic looking couple and were blessed with a beautiful weather on their wedding day. They were married in the Mulberry suite in a touching little civil ceremony. After the ceremony the couple, their family and friends walked round to the rear of Mulberry House for some drinks and canapés before the formal photographs took place.
Mulberry House is blessed with some fantastic gardens making for some superb backdrops for wedding photography. I have photographed many weddings at this prestigious wedding venue and never failed to get beautiful wedding pictures. One picture of Rosie recently won an award with the MPA (Master Photographers Association).
