In June of 2018 I photographed my first wedding at Hintlesham Hall. Hintlesham Hall is a beautiful grade 1 listed building in Suffolk dating back to the 1400s, with a breath-taking Georgian front exterior and original features. The gardens are wonderful too, with some fantastic backdrops for wedding photography.
However, before we got to Hintlesham Hall there was the small matter of getting married. Bronwyn and Steven were married in a lovely service at Saint Peter & Saint Pauls Church in St Osyth. As you will recall, the weather in the summer of 2018 was fantastic and so it was for Bronwyn and Stevens wedding day.
It was about a forty minute journey over from St Osyth to Hintlesham Hall, but once everyone had arrived and enjoyed the odd drink or two I set about photographing the formal pictures. As previously mentioned, the gardens are fantastic with lots of space and lovely backdrops. So much so there was room for a large inflatable for all the kids, and a few grown ups, to have fun on and lots of gardens games to keep the kids happy and amused.
After the wedding breakfast I set about photographing the speeches. This is nearly always a fun part of the day and I’m always looking for some reactions from those being spoken about or memories being recounted that will make for funny or interesting pictures.
Below are a few pictures from this lovely wedding and a special time laps movie featuring every picture for the wedding set to music. Just be aware, if you are viewing this at work you may wish to turn the sound down.
