Mulberry House Weddings
Mulberry House Weddings are very popular and recently I photographed the wedding of Cassie and Mark at this lovely Essex Wedding Venue. Mulberry House is situated on the A414 just before Ongar heading west towards Harlow and is set set in some beautiful gardens and countryside. It is ideally suited to weddings and especially wedding photography with some really nice backdrops. On this occasion everything was taking place at Mulberry House which made it easy for me as there was traveling involved between venues etc.
The day started off with photographs of Cassie and her bridesmaids as they prepared for the big day ahead in the master bedroom. Then it was into the gardens for some shots with Mark and the boys. Mulberry House has a lovely ambiance and it doesn’t matter if you are photographing indoors or out you always get great photos.
Then it was time for the wedding ceremony, on this occasion held in the Mulberry Suite just adjacent to the main house. I always love this bit, but it’s not always that easy to photograph as you do not want to be over active and interfere with the occasion. The ceremony as always was filled with love and emotion and it was a real pleasure for me to be there.
After the wedding ceremony it was time for drinks and canapes followed by group photographs on the lawn at the back of the house. There is plenty of space at Mulberry House so no matter how many guests there are it is never a problem finding a suitable location for large group shots. With the group photos completed there was just enough time before the wedding breakfast for some informal photographs of Cassie and Mark.
The wedding breakfast is always a good time for me as I get to sit down and relax for an hour or so and check my images. Cassie and Mark were kind enough to supply me with a meal which, as ever, was delicious. After the wedding breakfast it was time for some more photographs of Cassie and Mark in and around the gardens as day faded to night. Then finally cake cutting and the first dance. This was a lovely wedding for two lovely people and I really enjoyed it.
