Leez Priory Wedding
It has been ages since I have posted on my blog so I do apologise for that but, it has been an exceptionally busy summer for me. This post is about Chloe and Sam’s wedding whose wedding reception I photographed back in May of this year at Leez Priory, which is a stunning Essex Wedding Venue. The couple were married at All Saints Church in Terling which has to be one of the most beautiful villages in Essex, if not the country.
This was a really fun day and started with photographing the bridal preparations at Leez Priory as Sam, her bridesmaids and family all got ready for the big day in the Fisherman’s cottage. As you can see from the photographs Chloe’s wedding dress was gorgeous as were her wedding shoes and jewellery. After an hour or so I moved on to the meet with Sam, his best man and the ushers at the Square and Compasses pub in Fuller Street, not too far from Terling. I have to say it was so nice to be be travelling in such a beautiful part of Essex that day, it really is one of the things I like most about my job.
The wedding service was set for 1pm so I made sure I got to the church in good time to capture the guests arriving and of course the most important person the bride and her Dad in the lovely wedding car. The church was packed with Chloe and Sam’s family and friends and it was a lovely service. After the service, with the couple duly married, I captured the obligatory confetti shot as the bride and groom were showered in the walk from the church entrance to the gate. We then did a few formal photographs outside the church and on the green before all travelling the short distance back to Leez Priory for the wedding reception.
Leez Priory really is a superb wedding venue, with lots of character and plenty of space and backdrops for some fantastic wedding photography. I was also privileged to be provided with a meal during the wedding breakfast, which was delicious. After the wedding breakfast I photographed the speeches before taking the couple for a quiet walk around the grounds to capture a few pictures of them alone.
Finally, it was time for the cake cutting and first dance which, on this occasion, as the weather was so nice, took place on the lovely lawn in the main courtyard. If you are thinking of getting married at Leez Priory I can highly recommend it as one of the premiere wedding venues in Essex. It also goes with saying that if you also require an Essex Wedding Photographer I would be more than happy to provide you with a free quote for your wedding day.
