The Old Plough House Weddings
I have photographed many weddings at The old Plough House, Bulphan, Essex and back in June of this year it was to turn of Laura and Steven. Laura and Steven were married at St Catherine’s Church, Tilbury on a very blustery day, but the wind and a little rain could not dampen the couples spirits on their special day. The couple booked me almost two years ago and I only met them a few months before the wedding to discuss the details. However, the wait was very much worth it as this was a fantastic wedding.
As usual the day started off with bridal prep photos at Laura’s parents home just down the road from the church in Tilbury. The ceremony it self was a lovely occasion and despite the challenging lighting conditions in the church I managed to capture some nice photographs as the Laura and Steven were married.
From the church it was onto The Old Plough House just a few miles away on the way to Brentwood. When the couple arrived in their vintage wedding car the heavens opened so it was time for the white umbrellas to be brought into good use. However, just as soon as the rain arrive it went away and there was just enough time to get the formal shots done in the beautiful gardens. Formal photographs taken it was then time for some photos of Laura and Steven alone. There are extensive gardens at The Old Plough House with lots of nice backdrops for wedding photography.
Just as the rain returned it was time for the wedding breakfast. Laura and Steven had very kindly provided me with a meal which, as usual, was up to the very high standard set by this superb Essex Wedding Venue.
