Karina & Chris’s fab wedding at Stock Brook Manor
I love photographing weddings at Stock Brook Manor as it has to be one of the best Wedding Venues in Essex. Last year I photographed six weddings at Stock Brook Manor all of which were superb. Karina and Chris were married there in August last year on a beautiful summer’s day. The ceremony took place on the manicured lawn of the rear garden in the gazebo overlooking the fabulous golf course. Surrounded by their family and friends, this was a very emotional wedding with I think Chris shedding most of the tears.
The wedding the couple prepared for the big day at Pontlands Park hotel. However, it’s worth noting that Stock Brook now have their own accommodation open in the form of Great Blunts Manor well worth a look at if you are planning a wedding at Stock Brook in the near future.
After the wedding ceremony I gave the couple some time with their family and friends before setting about the formal group photographs including a shot of everyone on the lawn taken from the banqueting suite balcony. The staff that day worked their socks off to make sure everything ran smoothly ably led by the couple’s wedding planner Lorraine. As ever, the banqueting suite looked fantastic! Lorraine loves to give her couples a big reveal of the banqueting suite before anyone else sees it and for me to get a snap of the surprise on their faces as they see it in all its splendor for the first time.
Before long it was time for the wedding breakfast, always a good time for me as I get a break and a bite to eat. I eat at a lot of wedding venues and the food at Stock Brook Manor is second to none. After the wedding breakfast it was time for the speeches which were funny, emotional and poignant. Before the light completely went I took advantage of the lovely sunset for the obligatory bouquet throwing and a few more photographs of the couple alone in and around the lovely gardens.
Finally, it was time for the first dance and party. Karina had laid on a surprise for Chris in the form of a Jersey Boys tribute band who were simply superb and really got the night rocking! Below are a few of my favourite images from the day and if you have the password you can see them all by going to my website here.
