Ye Olde Plough House
Sadly only one wedding to photograph this month, but what a fantastic one it was, with some beautiful weather to match. Hayley and Neil are a lovely couple from Grays in Essex and the wedding took place at St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Church in the heart of Grays. This was surprisingly the first Catholic wedding I had ever photographed and I have to say what a great occasion it was! I must confess that I am not very religious person but this truly was a wonderful occasion that I really feel privileged to have witnessed. Following the ceremony the congregation moved onto the wedding reception, which was held at Ye Olde Plough House, Bulphan which is a great wedding venue not far from Brentwood in Essex. Ye Olde Plough House has some lovely gardens with lots of mature trees and shrubs which was great as the sun was very fierce in the afternoon so having some shade came as a welcome relief, and also helped with the photography. As you can see Haley and Neil are very photogenic and it was a pleasure to photograph their wedding day.
