Brandy Hole Restaurant Wedding
Earlier this year I photographed the wedding of Kelly and Mark at the Brandy Hole Restaurant, Hullbridge, Essex. This was a new wedding venue for me but one that I would certainly like to visit again. Situated on the banks of the River Crouch this is a delightful Essex Wedding Venue with wonderful views of the river and surrounding Essex countryside.
My day started off at Kelly’s mums house with pictures of the bridal preparations before driving to the Brandy Hole to grab some pictures of Mark before his bride arrived. The couple were married in a civil ceremony in the designated area inside the Brandy Hole Restaurant. The ceremony was very sweet with both Kelly and Mark having a giggle or two as they said their vows.
After the wedding ceremony the guests moved outside onto the very large veranda overlooking the river for some drinks and canapés. After a few minutes by themselves Kelly and Mark joined there guest and were greeted to a shower of confetti as they came outside. The weather that day was warm and, to begin with, dry so just perfect for the location. As rain was threatening though I took the couple for a walk along the river bank to get a few shots of them alone.
Luckily the rain held off until it was time for the wedding breakfast or on this occasion a barbeque. The Brandy Hole were well prepared with large umbrellas and no one got really wet whilst queuing for their dinner. I was treated to the same food as the guests and it was delicious so I will certainly be going back for a meal or two in the future. With the meal out of the way it was time for the speeches and Mark and his best man kept everyone amused with their anecdotes.
Finally it was time for the cake cutting and first dance, and I must say, what a first dance! Both Mark and kelly really excelled and it was a pleasure to watch. This was a fantastic wedding and I really was made to feel welcome by all of Kelly and Mark’s friends and family. Below area a few of my favourite pictures from the day.
