Roslin Beach Hotel Weddings | Lindsey and Chris. Recently I photographed the wedding of Lindsey and Chris at the Roslin Beach Hotel, Thorpe Bay. The Roslin Beach Hotel, as you might expect from the name, is directly opposite to the beach at Thorpe Bay which, when the weather is good, is a great location for wedding photography. Luckily for Lindsey and Chris the weather although quite windy was dry all day so we managed to get onto the beach for some of their wedding photos.
Weddings at Mulberry House, Ongar are very popular and recently I photographed the Wedding of Samantha and Peter there. Mulberry House is a fantastic Essex Wedding Venue and is within easy reach of both the M11 and A12. Samantha and Peter are a lovely couple and it was a real privilege to be commissioned to photograph their wedding day. Samantha and Peter wanted two photographers for their wedding to capture some more candid/reportage type wedding photos so on this occasion I took along my assistant and photographer Claire to help capture lots of special moments from the day.
Kayleigh and Luke held their Wedding at Stock Brook Manor, which is a fantastic Wedding Venue on the edge of Billericay, Essex, and is my hometown. This wedding was without doubt one of the best I have ever had the good fortune to be involved with and photograph and I actually went home feeling good inside having witnessed it.
Weddings at the Ivory Rooms Billericay are very popular, and rightly so it’s a great venue for a wedding. Recently I photographed the wedding of Vikki and Simon there which as can be seen in the photos was quite an emotional event. The wedding photography started as most of my weddings do with bridal preparation photos, this time at the couples home in Grays. This is a good opportunity to get some great shots of the bride and brides maids before anyone else see’s them. From there I took the short drive to Billericay and The Ivory Rooms which is located on the road out of the town on the way to Basildon. There I took some photos of Simon and his best man as they waited for Vikki to arrive. The ceremony took place in the Chantry Suite which was also used for the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. The staff at the Ivory Rooms do a great job in changing everything around for the different parts of the day and there are plenty of other areas within the Ivory Rooms for guest to get drinks and relax whilst the changes are being made. The only problem with this venue s that there is very little room for large group/formal photographs, but we made good use of the green opposite the venue for those. Vikki and Simon are a lovely couple and were more than happy to take some time out from the celebrations to have some photographs taken. Below are a few of my favourites from the day:
Lords Golf and Country Club is a popular place for weddings in Essex and was the venue for one of my most recent weddings that of Leane and Ian. I photographed Leane’s Mum and step Dad’s wedding there last year and it was very kind of them to recommend me to photograph Leane and Ian’s wedding. I was booked to photograph from bridal preparations right up to and including the first dance which is something I do as standard for most of my clients. We were lucky with the weather that day as although it threatened to rain it never actually did, however it did get a bit cold in the evening. Lords Golf and Country Club is a great place for weddings with lots of nice rooms and some lovely outdoor settings for wedding photography. I can also vouch for the food as Leane and Ian were kind enough to supply me with a meal, which was very nice. All in all this was yet another lovely wedding that was a real pleasure to photograph and below are just a few of my favourite images from the day.
