Kent Life is a very unusual place for wedding photos, but was the venue for for my most recent wedding that of Jane and Caleb. Kent Life is primarily a heritage farm attraction and has 28 acres of fun from hands-on activities for kids to age-old farming traditions that bring back memories from way back when. They have animals to cuddle, tractors to ride, play areas to go wild in, fascinating historic buildings to explore and a some superb function rooms for weddings. Jane and Caleb were married in the restored village hall that is full of character and old world charm. We also we made full use of the buildings and grounds that go to make up Kent Life for the wedding photography.
Jane and Caleb wanted a very simple wedding and had asked me to be relatively hands off and take lots of reportage style photographs, together with lots of them and their children. Jane did not require any photographs of the bridal preparations which meant all of the photographs were taken at the venue. After 6pm Kent Life is closed to the public and we had full use of all the grounds including the play areas, which as you can see from the photos, we made good use of. Jane and Caleb are a fantastic couple with lovely family and friends so I thoroughly enjoyed photographing their wedding day. Below are just a few of my favourite images from the day:
