Hanbury Manor Hertfordshire Wedding
Last December I photographed the wedding of Lisa and Adrian at Hanbury Manor Hertfordshire. Hanbury Manor is a beautiful Hertfordshire Wedding Venue with some magnificent grounds and a fantastic eighteen hole golf course. Lisa and Adrian’s wedding took place in the Garden Court which is separate from the manor house, but still a fantastic place for a wedding.
The day started off with my assistant Zoe and I photographing the bridal preparations, which is always fun. I left Zoe with Lisa and her brides maids and went over to the manor house for some photographs of Adrian and his best man. The day was quite overcast with the occasional rain shower which meant most of the photography had to be done inside.
The garden court has a magnificent conservatory where the wedding ceremony took place, which is great as it lets in lots of natural light. After the ceremony because of the rain we had to photograph all the formal group shots within the conservatory, which was a pity as there are some lovely gardens.
With all the formal shots completed we were taken in a golf buggy over to the manor house for some photographs with Lisa and Adrian alone. Despite the inclement weather we still manage to get a few nice photographs with the manor house and trees in the background. Unfortunately there was another wedding in progress within the manor house so on this occasion we could not go inside.
For this wedding I photographed from the bridal prep up until the wedding breakfast, but I did manage to get a mock picture of the couple cutting their wedding cake. One mention I should make is that the staff at Hanbury Manor are very experienced and professional making for a very smooth and stress free occasion.
