Newland Hall Wedding
Back in April of this year I photographed the wedding of Anna and Tristan at Newland Hall. I always love going to Newland Hall, the staff are friendly and very professional and the venue has some superb backdrops for wedding photography. It is also not too far from my home, which is great when you are tired after a long day photographing a wedding.
The day started off me in Ongar where I photographed Anna and her bridesmaids as they prepared for the big day at Anna’s parents home. The weather that day was sunny and bright, just perfect for a wedding. From there I travelled the relatively short distance to Newland Hall for some photographs of the boys before Anna and her father arrived in the wedding car.
Anna and Tristan chose to be married in the delightful custom built gazebo, which is perfectly located alongside the superb permanent marquee in the gardens of Newland Hall. As previously mentioned there are lots of nice spots in and around the grounds for photographs at Newland Hall, but I normally start off with the formal group photographs at the front of the main house. You can get a nice shot from one of the upstairs windows of the whole wedding party no matter how many guests there might be? After the formal photographs I took Anna and Tristan away for some photographs of them alone in and around the extensive grounds and gardens at Newland Hall, some of which can be seen below.
Before long it was time for the wedding breakfast in the Marquee where I photographed the speeches which, on this occasion took part before the meal. For this wedding I was only commissioned to photograph until the end of the speeches which, is always an option when booking me to photograph your wedding. Below is a selection of some of my favourite images from the day.
