As Essex Wedding Venues go Layer Marney Tower has got to be one of the most spectacular and beautiful places to hold a wedding reception. So far this year I have three weddings booked for this popular Essex Wedding Venue, one of which I photographed a few weeks ago. The wedding of Louise and Paul was simply superb, with warm and sunny spring weather, a lovely old English church and the perfect place for a reception. Added to this the fact that Louise and Paul and all their family and friends are such lovely people made this one of the best weddings I have ever had the privilege to photograph.
Louise and Paul were married in St Nicholas Church, Tooleshunt D’Arcy which is just a few miles away from Layer Marney. The vicar gave a lovely sermon and allowed me a relatively free rein to photograph where I liked. One of Louise and Paul’s friends Mechelle, whose wedding to Simon I photographed last year, sang a beautiful song for the couple as they signed the register which had a tear in everyone’s eye, including me! From there we moved onto Layer Marney Tower for more photographs and the wedding reception. As can be seen from the photographs everyone had a ball and we got some great photographs for all to enjoy. You can probably gather I’m not great at writing reports or describing emotion so I’ll just let the photographs speak for themselves; here are some of my favourites:
