Recently I applied to join the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and I am delighted to report I have been accepted and awarded a Licentiate in Wedding Photography. It is really nice to know that my wedding photography has been judged by a panel of my piers to be of such good standard to be accepted by an official qualifying body for professional photographers in the UK. It is important to point out that the BIPP not only insist on a good standard of imagery but that they also require their photographers to be properly insured and professional in the way they conduct themselves and run their business.
I intend to treat this as a stepping-stone for further qualifications and I am already working toward gaining my Associateship with the BIPP in the not too distant future.
