Emily and Stefan’s lovely Newland Hall Wedding
Last winter I photographed the wedding of Emily and Stefan at Newland Hall in Essex. This is a fantastic Essex Wedding Venue where even in winter there are some fabulous backdrops for wedding photography.
However, my day started off in Southend at Emily’s parents home with photographs of Emily and her bridesmaids getting ready for the big day. The atmosphere there was happy and somewhat emotional. From there we drove to Newland Hall where the girls completed their preparations. Luckily it was a fine winter’s day and quite mild for the time of year. Whilst the girls were finishing off I took the opportunity to grab some shots of Stefan and his best man having a few jokes.
The wedding ceremony was held in the beautiful Henry VIII Room which was packed with the couple’s family and friends. Emily looked stunning in her wedding dress as she walked down the aisle arm in arm with her proud Dad. After the lovely ceremony everyone gathered outside for a large group photograph, before moving into the superb permanent marquee at Newland Hall for a few refreshments.
After a few more formal group photographs I took Emily and Stefan off for some photographs of them alone. Newland Hall has lots of lovely spots for this and despite the fading light we managed get some great pictures. I have posted lots of pictures from Emily and Stefan’s special wedding below so you can see for yourself just how good this wedding venue is for photography.
With the light almost gone it was time for the wedding breakfast. The food at Newland Hall is second to none and I always enjoy having a meal there. After the wedding breakfast Emily and Stefan’s family and friends were treated to some lovely speeches. Then finally it was time for the cake cutting and first dance. I always enjoy my weddings at Newland Hall, the staff are very friendly and experienced and weddings run very smoothly. Funnily enough I am actually back there this week for some more fun.
