Three Rivers Golf and Country Club was the venue for my latest wedding, that of Nicola and Jay. This is a very popular Essex Wedding Venue and one that I have photographed at before so I am well used to how things work there. Nicola and Jay were married at St. Mary & St. Margaret Church, Stow Maries which dates back to the 13th century. The church is beautiful with lots of it’s original features still in place, including the wedding registry which dates back to the eighteenth century. Three Rivers is less than half a mile from the church so just a short car journey for the Vintage Wedding Cars used by the couple and their bridesmaids.
At Three Rivers the couple, their family and friends were treated to drinks and canopies on arrival ably served by the very helpful and experienced staff. I like to give the couple time to relax and greet their guests before photographing the group shots so we waited about half an hour before moving onto the large lawn between the main building and the golf course. The weather was bright and sunny, a bit too sunny for my liking, but there is plenty of space to position the group shots so that people aren’t left squinting from the sun. After the group shots I took Nicola and Jay to one side for some portrait photographs, a few of which can be seen below. The couple had asked me to keep the Wedding Photography fairly basic so from then on it was the receiving lines, speeches, cake cutting and first dance something that comes as standard with all my wedding photography packages. Here are a few of my favourite images from this lovely wedding day.
