Mulberry House Ongar Weddings
Back in August I photographed the wedding of Gina and David at Burstead Church and Mulberry House, Ongar. Gina and David live very close to me, which is great as I can deliver their wedding album in person. It also made it very easy for me on their wedding day as I did not have far to travel to photograph Gina as she and her bridesmaids prepared for their big day. We started off at the local hair dressers before moving onto the couples home where the final preparations took place. Gina is a beautiful woman with a simply infectious smile and as can be seen from the photographs looked stunning in her wedding dress. After that it was onto the beautiful old church in Burstead.
The weather that day was perfect with nice blue skies and something of a rarity for this year; sunshine. At the church I photographed David and his best man along with some of the guests as they arrived. As can be seen from the photographs David is handsome devil so it was great to get some nice shots of him alone outside the church as he waited nervously for his bride. Then it was the turn of Gina and her Dad as they arrived, just time for a few shots of them in and by the wedding car. The ceremony was very nice but difficult to capture due to the very low light levels in the church. Despite that I still managed to get some nice shots of the bride and groom during the very nice ceremony and again as they signed the register etc.
After the wedding it was off to Mulberry House for the wedding reception. Mulberry House, Ongar is a really popular Essex Wedding Venue and I seem to be photographing more and more weddings there these days, which is great as I really like the place. The gardens are beautiful and really well maintained with lots of great spots for good wedding photography. The staff are very helpful and experienced, and having sampled several meals there, can vouch for how good the food is.
The time seemed to fly by that day and before long we were fighting for the last pools of light before it got dark. Finally I photographed the cake cutting and first dance. All in all this was a fantastic wedding staring a really lovely couple, who are obviously madly in love; I could not have asked for more. As is usual with these blog posts I have selected a few of my favourite images from the day which can be seen below, and if you are looking for an Essex wedding photographer please go to my main website for more details of my wedding photography services.
