Fennes Wedding Venue near Braintree in Essex is a superb place for a wedding and one that I very much like to photograph. Back on a rather cold day in February of this year I photographed the wedding of Emma and Ryan at this popular Essex Wedding Venue. This was quite a long day for me, starting with the bridal preparations in the morning and staying right up until the firework display in the evening. It turned out to be well worth the effort as I really enjoyed photographing this lovely couple’s wedding and meeting all their family and friends.
The wedding ceremony took place in the lovely Pavilion which is attached the to Manor House. The Pavilion is very light and spacious even for the largest of weddings. I love it when weddings are all in one place and the Fennes is perfect for that, so after Emma and Ryan were married in a very nice ceremony it was just a short walk back into the manor house for the refreshments.
Although it was quite cold and a little wet in the morning the weather improved as the day went on and we managed to grab a few formal group photographs and some pictures of Emma and Ryan alone outside in the beautiful gardens at the Fennes.
Emma and Ryan were kind enough to provide me with a meal during the wedding breakfast and, as ever, the food was extremely good. With the wedding breakfast completed it was time for the speeches and as can be seen from the photographs it got a little emotional, which was nice.
The highlight of the day for me was the fabulous firework display which along with the moonlit night was quite spectacular. I even managed to do a sparkler shot with the couple, something I have never attempted before that worked out quite good considering it was my first try.
Below are some of my favourite photographs from this lovely wedding.
