Kayleigh and Luke held their Wedding at Stock Brook Manor, which is a fantastic Wedding Venue on the edge of Billericay, Essex, and is my hometown. This wedding was without doubt one of the best I have ever had the good fortune to be involved with and photograph and I actually went home feeling good inside having witnessed it.
My task was to photograph the wedding in an unobtrusive manor capturing all the special moments that go to make up a wedding day. This also included taking some formal/group photographs along with a few special moments with the couple alone.
You can see from the photographs that Kayleigh and Luke are a fantastic looking couple, but hopefully the photographs also portray the fact that they are also madly in love and above all are both just lovely people.
The day started off at the couple’s home in Basildon, which is a very smart flat with clean white walls that make for a perfect backdrop for pre-wedding photographs. Kayleigh had three lovely bridesmaids who along with Kayleigh’s mum helped her prepare for her big day. Kayleigh’s Dad was also on hand to supply the odd joke or two and in general keep us all amused with his bubbly personality.
From Basildon we moved onto Stock Brook Manor for the Wedding Ceremony and Reception. I went on ahead of the bridal party to capture some photographs of Luke, his best man and ushers as they waited nervously for the bride to arrive. There are lots of nice places at Stock Brook Manor in and around the grounds for wedding photography. One other thing about Stock Brook is that the staff are extremely helpful and professional, they keep everything flowing in a nice orderly manor, something that is a must on a wedding day.
A special mention should go to Kayleigh’s Dad’s speech, which was without doubt not only the funniest, but also the most heart felt speech I have ever heard, it really had me in tears of laughter and joy.
To sum up this was a fantastic wedding at a superb wedding venue and I’m sure that anyone who was there a a great time. Here are just a few of my favourite images from the day:
