My nephew Neil and Fiancée Ruth were married at Crondon Park Golf and Country Club near Stock, Essex and I had the great pleasure of being their wedding photographer for the big day. Even in winter Crondon Park is a fantastic Essex Wedding Venue with a large converted barn and lovely gardens and grounds, which are perfect for weddings. Despite it being it bit cold and windy we made good use of all the facilities for Ruth and Neil’s wedding photos.
The day started off at Ruth’s parents home in Harold Wood, Romford where I photographed the bride and bridesmaids preparing for the big day ahead. Ruth looked stunning in her wedding dress as did the bridesmaids in there’s and despite the inevitable nerves we even managed a few fun shots of the girls enjoying a glass of bubbly before I had to set off for the venue. At the venue I met with Neil and Best Man Alan for a few shots of them in and around the gardens at Crondon.
The wedding photography was my gift to Ruth and Neil so even though I knew a lot of the people there and it was all quite relaxed I still wanted to do the best job I could for them. I also used the opportunity to experiment a bit with video, something that I will be doing more of in 2012. The video is still in the production process but I will hopefully post a few clips on my blog in the next few weeks.
